Workshop on Common Errors in Statistical Studies

Bu-Ali Sina University, Hamedan, Iran

24 Feb to 03 Mar, 2022

About Workshop

Statistics is the discipline that concerns the collection, organization, analysis, interpretation, and presentation of data. In applying statistics to a scientific, industrial, or social problem, it is required to pay attention to all aspects of the definition of the statistics as a scientific tool. However, many studies that use statistical tools just focus on the analysis of data. Despite of the appropriateness of the analysis, in each of the other aspects of statistics, errors can and do occur.
AGNA, along with Bu-Ali Sina University, and jointly with ISBIS organize a workshop on common errors in statistical studies and how to avoid them.

Workshop venue

As the vaccine becomes more widespread, in person events will likely at first be limited to domestic events and have virtual or hybrid components. Virtual meetings and hybrid meetings are here to stay because they answer the need to meet with more people — more safely and more effectively. Our virtual part will be organized through GoToWebinar application; whereas the in person meeting will simultaneously organized in Bu-Ali Sina University.
